CHISWICK FESTIVAL IS BACK!

The summer is on! Get ready to devour your city…

Our inaugural event in August 2020 saw over 5,000 people attend 21 evenings of great music, comedy and shows.

And now we’re back!

Join us for a celebration of great street food & drinks from around the world, supporting our local caterers, with great music, comedy and entertainment.

Weds 4th August Evening

FOOD, DRINK, BAND + OPEN MIC NIGHT

5:30PM DOORS OPEN

The opening night of the festival we’re having a DJ playing awesome background tracks whilst you enjoy food and drink from local restaurants and caterers.

Then we’re going to be opening this up for local talent to showcase their abilities, possibly with a band to close the night.

Short performances by locally sourced talent, 10-15 mins each; where we’re simply going to give them the stage.

Casual, fun, and we’re really eager to find more local talent!

There is a sound engineer who’ll be there, we have microphones, PA and all that. You just need to bring yourself and/or your instrument!

An amazing night of comedy and music from the UK’s No. 1 ABBA Tribute Band – Revival.

ABBA RevivalAwarded No.1 Abba Tribute band (for the last 5 years) in the UK by the Agents Association of Great Britain; have gigged world wide – including at the famous Mathew street festival – Liverpool to 300,000 people.

Nathan CatonNathan is one of the most exciting young comedians on the scene, and has established himself both as a circuit headliner, and a name on TV and radio

MC: Dave WardFluid, quick thinking, and lively, David’s spontaneity has made him the choice host for the BBC’s New Comedy Awards heats, as well as the rounds for C5’s So You Think You’re Funny?

A night to remember with comedy and the UK’s premier touring Queen Tribute Band – Majesty.

QUEENQueen Tribute Band Majesty are the UK’s premiere touring Queen tribute band. For nearly 10 years, Majesty have been entertaining audiences across the world with the electrifying, energetic stage show.Comedy includes –

Jo Enright – most recently seen playing the part of ‘Angela’ in ITV Sitcom The Job Lot, Jo Enright has starred alongside Steve Coogan in I’m Alan Partridge and with Peter Kay in Phoenix Nights.)

Hal Cruttenden – Hal is one of the country’s best-loved stand-ups with appearances on Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, The Royal Variety Performance Would I Lie To You, The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice and The Apprentice: You’re Fired.

MC: Sheraz Yousaf – London based Sheraz draws on his life experiences in a fresh, forthcoming style using humble self-depreciation blended with brilliant comic delivery.

His likeable personality will make you laugh and then want to go for a pint with him after the show.

A fabulous afternoon of comedy and music from a fabulous local band.

Comedy includes –

John Robins  – yes, he’s an Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner (formerly The Perrier), Yes he’s a Gold Aria Award Winner (formerly The Sony’s); you’ll know him also from the TV and on stages like Live At The Apollo, or maybe from his show on BBC5Live.

Jonny & the Baptists Musical satirists Jonny & the Baptists – real names Jonny Donahoe & Paddy Gervers – are among the hottest musical comedy acts on the UK scene, regularly appearing on TV, radio, at festivals and comedy clubs around the country on their UK tours.

MC: Miss Mo’Real

South Londoner Miss Mo’Real is refreshingly bold, pulls no punches, and is guaranteed to bring the house down.

She has performed extensively around the UK including at Dingwalls and at the Hackney Empire and won the prestigious 291 Club talent show in July 2019. She has performed at the Wahala Comedy Festival, and was nominated for The Social Media Personality of the Year Award.

MUSIC by The Ukes Of Hazard! An awesome ukulele band performing a wide variety of music. Light hearted, fun, and great  fun, whilst you enjoy some food and drink!

An Irish comedy hour by leading stand-up Comics followed by the UK’s leading Beatles Tribute Band – The Bootleg Beatles, this will be a night not be to missed!

The Bootleg Beatles – the world’s Premier Beatles band continues to draw critical acclaim with their flawless recreation of the greatest songbook of all time. Tracing the Fab Four’s journey through the swinging 60s, every tiny detail is forensically observed from their authentic period costumes and instruments to their witty stage banter and “inflection perfect” vocals.

This show is an absolute must for Beatlemaniacs of all ages!

Plus, it’s now 55 years since the Beatles performed Paperback Writer and Rain in the Chiswick House grounds!

With sell out performances including The Royal Albert Hall, this is a once in a lifetime chance to see them live, on your doorstep!

Jasmin Gleeson  (Originally from Dublin, Jasmin Gleeson has quickly made moves on the London comedy circuit with her charming demeanor and playful writing style.

She is a semi-finalist in the Cherry Comedy Breakout Act of the Year Competition 2020 and was a Finalist in the Stand-up and Be Funny competition as seen on The Ray D’Arcy Show RTE.)

Peter Flanagan (One of Ireland’s rising comedy stars. Since arriving in London in 2016, he’s quickly become one of the most in-demand acts on the UK comedy circuit. His razor-sharp material and polished delivery has brought him to the top comedy clubs and festivals around the world, from Dublin’s Vodafone Comedy Festival to London’s world-famous Comedy Store.

Comedy includes –

Gabby Killick – before lockdown, Gabby’s hit comedy show, “Girlfriend From Hell,’’ was taking the world by storm. It was listed by the Funny Women organisation, as one of their top three shows and rated a top ten show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The show played to venues across the UK, Europe and the USA to wide acclaim.

During the pandemic, Gabby has become a viral sensation with the trend setting “imjustbait” page repeatedly posting her for making a series of short hilarious videos.

Larry Dean – Larry was crowned Scottish Comedian Of The Year when he was 23, and since then his star has continued to rise. His 2015 debut Edinburgh Fringe show Out Now! received widespread critical acclaim and a nomination for the Foster’s Comedy Award for Best Newcomer. Larry brought the show for a run of packed-out performances at London’s Soho Theatre and on to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival where he was one of the standout acts on the Allstars Supershow Opening Night Gala.

Lloyd Griffith a comedian, a choirboy and an ‘aspiring’ goalkeeper. You may have seen him most recently in Ted Lasso (Apple TV), It’s A Sin (Channel 4), House of Games (BBC 2), Not Going Out (BBC 1) & Jonathan Ross’ Comedy Club (ITV).

Lloyd also fronted a documentary on BBC called ‘Can You Beat The Bookies?’ which received rave reviews. He was also co-host of Soccer AM on Sky Sports and was co-host of FLINCH on Netflix. Other TV credits include 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Bounty Hunters (Sky), Comedy Central Live at The Comedy Store (Comedy Central), Roast Battle (Comedy Central), Drunk History (Comedy Central), Taxi To Training (BBC3), Football’s Funniest Moments (Sky), The Premier League Show (BBC2), Songs of Praise (BBC2) and many more. He recently supported Jack Whitehall on his UK arena tour and had previous supported Rob Beckett on his UK tour.

MUSIC by Mumfudden Suns. An awesome indie folk-rock band performing a wide variety of music – light-hearted, fun, and great whilst you enjoy some food and drink!
