What to expect

Our FAQs

Below you’ll find all your questions answered. If there’s anything you’re still not sure of, click the yellow box on the bottom right and chat with us.

I've a promo code. How do I enter this?

Simply enter it where it asks for “Do you have a promo code?”.

Face Masks

You MUST bring a Face Mask and wear it at all times, including when entering or exiting the event area, EXCEPT for when you are at your table, which will be at a safe distance from other audience members.

Any time you leave your table (e.g. for the bar or toilet) masks must be worn.

Hand Sanitiser

Hand Sanitiser will be provided and you MUST sanitise your hands upon entry.

Experiencing any Covid-19 symptons?

If you or a member of your household has had any Covid-19 symptoms in the 14-day lead up to your event, please do not attend. Contact [email protected] who will arrange a deferral of your ticket.

You may also be asked if you have displayed any symptoms upon arrival or at any point while you are at the event. If the answer is yes, or if you are visibly displaying symptoms, you may be asked to isolate within, or leave, the event area.

What are the seating arrangements?

The event is all outdoors in the Walled Gardens of Chiswick House and Gardens.

Upon entry, you will be escorted to your table.

There will be a one-way system in place to follow.

Your seats/table will be yours for that session. Each table and bench will have been wiped down with alcohol wipes before each session to ensure they’re safe.

Toilets will be available at the event.

If you do use ours, please follow the steward’s instructions on sanitisation.

All our toilets will be sanitised using products to protect you and others. We ask everyone to leave the toilets as you’d expect to find them.

We have a full bar on the night sponsored by Fullers.

Servers will be on hand to take any orders and take to your table; the same as pubs offer at the moment.

There will be QR codes also on the tables for you to order at the table. This event is all table service. We don’t like queuing anyway and this will derisk any potential risks associated with spreading Covid.

Are there Medical Staff?

Medical Staff are present at all events. If you become unwell at one of our events please contact your nearest Steward.

Can I smoke?

If you wish to smoke, including e-cigarettes, you need to leave the area and will be readmitted afterwards.

In areas that smoking is permitted, please be courteous to other audience members.

Cash / Card Payments on the night

We request all payments to be made via Card / Contactless. But, do bring cash in case of any mobile outages and the machines don’t work!

We will have card machines in use operated by Peregrine Pace and Gym Jam for our Bar and Catering.

Can I bring food, or get food on the night?

This event is all about supporting the local restaurants and caterers.

So you cannot bring your own food or drinks in.

There is an array of catering on site, where each dish is just £5.00 and are smaller dishes so you can enjoy more, different food from different caterers.

Can I bring drinks?

You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol on the night; this is due to the licensing.

We have a full bar on site.

No alcohol may be brought into the event area. Bags may be checked and alcoholic drinks confiscated.

Are children allowed?

Children are allowed though we don’t offer discounts for children. They still take the same size seat as an adult! And this is a seated event.

Due to Covid safety, we must insist that children (under 16s) are kept under control and not causing a nuisance or risk of transmission to other audience members. If this does happen, the group they belong to will be asked to leave the seating area, and may be asked to leave the event site if the problem persists or is severe.

We also advise parental discretion – some performances may not be suitable for under 16s so it is up to the parents/guardians, who must accompany them, whether or not they should be watching. The comedy shows are likely to contain bad language and other adult content.

Parking and travel to the site

We recommend walking to the area.

If you are coming from afar or cannot walk, the best public transport options are generally to Chiswick High Road, which is a 5-8min walk away via Dukes Avenue and the underpass. Chiswick mainline station is also 5-8mins in the other direction, via Park Road and the A4.

There is parking onsite for around 50 cars, in the main car park of Chiswick House Grounds. Please check signage for pay and display costs & times.

The best place to aim for using sat nav or Google maps is the Will to Win Tennis Centre (in Chiswick!) – the entrance to the event is a few yards away from their gates.

What if it rains? Or is bad weather?

In the event of bad weather, the event will go ahead.

If it’s merely the Great British Summer that’s dampening spirits (plus the ground and all of us), we will do everything we can to make everyone comfortable, though we cannot refund tickets on the grounds of wet weather.

Do check the forecast and bring appropriate gear!

We are hoping to be providing cover for everyone however due to costs; this will subject to the number of tickets sold.

Chillier nights

Please note that it can turn chilly in the evenings, so please make sure you bring suitable clothing.

We’re hoping to provide marquees for everyone to sit under however this is subject to the numbers of tickets sold and finances.

If we don’t have cover, which we will be able to advise prior, umbrellas may be brought with you but please do not open them during a performance as it will affect the view of those behind you.

During breaks/intervals or moving around the event area they may be opened.

You can also always bring a poncho!

Cancelled related to Covid-19

If your event has to be cancelled for reasons related to Covid-19, the organisers will reschedule the event to another date as soon as is reasonably possible. If you cannot make the rescheduled date, or the organisers make the decision to refund everyone in case new dates take too long to organise and/or decisions are made to not run the event again, your ticket fee will be fully refunded to you minus the processing fee (10%) & an Admin fee (£3.99 per ticket).

What if it's called off due to seriously bad weather?

If the event is called off due to serious weather which would endanger attendees, staff or performers (for example but not limited to hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, etc), you will be informed in advance of the event and offered an alternative date.

If it’s merely the Great British Summer that’s dampening spirits (plus the ground and all of us), we will do everything we can to make everyone comfortable, though we cannot refund tickets on the grounds of wet weather.

Do check the forecast and bring appropriate gear!

What if an Act has to cancel?

Due to Covid-19, or other reasons, there is a small chance that a performer/act may not be able to attend at short notice (for example if they develop symptoms). In this event, the organisers will do all they can to replace the performer/act for a reasonable alternative at their own expense.

Your ticket will remain valid and refunds will not be offered.

Can't attend any longer?

If you cannot attend your event, please get in touch at [email protected], and we may be able to offer you an alternative date to attend another event – subject to availability.

Please note this is not guaranteed. You can also give your ticket to someone else and we can swap the names on the ticket.
